The pattern is written as one size fits all but you can easily adjust the size by making fewer or more increasing/decreasing rows according to your head measurements (chin to head top).
This pattern is suitable for beginners. You should be familiar with the following simple crochet stitches:
Ch: Chain
Sk: Skip a stitch
St: Stitch
Sl st: Slip stitch
Sc blo: Single Crochet back loop only
Sc3tog: Single Crochet 3 together
